Custom Orthotics in Woodstock
If your feet ache after a long day, or you’re dealing with heel spurs, plantar fasciitis, or stubborn knee, hip, or low back pain, the problem often starts at ground level. Your feet are the foundation of your body, and when they’re not balanced, everything above may be affected.
We offer custom orthotics using Sole Support at Advanced Pain & Spine Center, a fully personalized approach that goes far beyond store-bought inserts or drugstore scans. These are crafted for your body after your feet have been carefully adjusted into their optimal position.
Our Process Puts Your Foot in the Right Place First
Before we cast your foot, Dr. Sikanowicz adjusts it and performs soft tissue work to release tension and correct imbalances. The goal is to place your foot in a neutral, balanced position, the way it should function every day.
Once your foot is adjusted and the muscles addressed, we cast it in that position. We also use muscle testing during the casting process to confirm your foot is truly in neutral and your body is responding well. The cast is then sent to the lab, and your custom orthotics usually arrive in about 10 to 14 business days.
Built to Last, Made to Break It in Slowly
These orthotics are designed for long-term support. For many adults, a pair may last five to ten years; most people lose them before they wear out. When you receive your orthotics, we’ll guide you through a gradual break-in process so your body can adapt comfortably.
For children, Sole Supports offers a “grow out” policy: if your child goes up a shoe size, you can get a brand-new pair for a reduced fee.
Why Custom Beats Off-the-Shelf Every Time
Drugstore scanners capture your foot as it is in that moment, often tired and stressed. At Advanced Pain & Spine Center, we first correct, then cast, creating an orthotic based on your foot in its healthiest, most functional state.
